This is an excellent opportunity to enjoy Mazatlan from a unique perspective; on an electric smart bike! You will first receive a briefing of how to operate these smart bicycles with the 3 forms to operate: Pedaling as a conventional bicycle, fully powered electrically, or electrically assisted pedaling. You can choose which parts of the tour you would like to pedal and which parts you take advantage of the electric motor! You will visit some of the iconic locations throughout Old Mazatlan while enjoying the ride on your own electric smart bike being guided by a certified guide giving you the in’s and out’s of each attraction, area and aspect of Mazatlan and its culture. Starting off with a briefing of the operation and safety details of using the smart bikes, you will depart from the Cruise Ship Terminal Building, ride past the sport fishing fleet and stop at the Mazatlan Heart, where you will enjoy beautiful views of the ocean and the lighthouse which is known to be one of the highest in the world! Ride along the scenic “Paseo Centenario” which will bring you to the south end of the longest boardwalk in Mexico riding past the state & city shield of arms, many monuments, and the saltwater pool right in the ocean! Then we make a stop to watch the cliff divers’ show where the divers plunge into only 8 feet of water from 45 feet high, then continuing along the boardwalk you will arrive to the photo op of the Mazatlan letters with the background being the ocean, you won’t want to miss this chance to have your guide take your picture here. You will then continue on going inland to see the local parts of the city, where you will ride past the outdoor seafood market, and the downtown central market where locals do their shopping, arriving to the Cathedral right in the center of Old Town where you will have the opportunity to take a brief walk inside for pictures, then you will ride into the Historical Center stopping at the oldest plaza in the city “Plazuela Machado” where the renown “Angela Peralta Theater” sits, then we will take a short ride back to La Puntilla, the far south end of Mazatlan.
